> FWIW, I first heard about the BMG from two deaf friends of mine.

A few weeks ago they had a bit on SNL during the Weekend Update where a deaf comedian was telling terribly racist jokes that his black interpreter didn’t want to repeat. I didn’t get the point of the sketch myself (that a deaf person can be a jerk, too? that the Deaf are so culturally out-of-the-loop that he didn’t know he was being offensive?), and I was surprised when Entertainment Weekly mentioned later that the comedian was a former member of BMG.

> I was wondering if I should treat myself to the DVD of the Complex Rock Tour; from what you’re all saying, it shounds like I won’t be disappointed.

Yes. Go get it. Right now.

They are a great percussion group, with some incredibly complex rhythms. I’m glad you started this thread, because I was about to start one with a Blue Man Group question:

I just watched the DVD. In the “tribute” track (I won’t say any more, so I don’t ruin it for those who haven’t seen it), they open up with a Devo cut. I _know_ the next song. I’m sure I do. I listened to it three times, and I just can’t remember what song it is, and who originally did it. Help me!
