My favorites have to be divided between the original series and the revival. The two series were quite different in what they were trying to do.
Original series: “City of Death,” “The Talons of Weng-Chiang,” “Paradise Towers,” “The Pirate Planet,” and “Mawdryn Undead.”
Revival: “Blink,” “Silence in the Library/Garden of the Dead,” “Dalek,” “The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances,” “Turn Left,” and “Love and Monsters.”
