One of the most iconic scenes for me doesn’t really strike home until you see it a second time. In the beginning of season four, there’s a scene w/ all four of the main young boys walking through the halls at school…laughing and joking with each other. Heartbreaking scene the second time around.

Anyway, I just realised I’ve seen Idris Elba in something else. He was in a UK show called Ultraviolet about 10 years ago which I saw, and thinking back on it yes that definitely was him (didn’t realise what a sexy mofo he was until the Wire though…)
