Oh, and another one I Really Should Not Say: I am indifferent to cats, and to pictures of cats, memes about cats, jokes about cats, videos of cats. Cats can disappear from the earth as far as I’m concerned. I agree with those who are uninterested in other people’s babies and vacation pictures. I rather like Christmas if other people do the majority of the work, and I don’t have to visit my family of origin. ---

Some dogs in these situations are being trained as service dogs. Others are just pets of course. I don’t think dogs are allowed in buildings serving or selling food. I take my young dogs to the feed store and the pet store, where they are welcome. Also my local post office sometimes (the postmaster knows my dog by name). Otherwise no. I did have a dog who was so polite and well-trained she would carry packages for me from the checkout counter to the car, but I’ve not had a dog like that since. ---

Nope, not talking about service dogs - those are generally pretty obvious. Just regular pets that people seem to think that they need to take with them wherever they go. ---

I love dogs and am rather indifferent to cats, and I agree with you. Dogs don’t belong everywhere. I mean, I’d love to take my dog everywhere, but there are other people in this world who don’t like them. And I certainly don’t want anyone and everyone taking them in indoor spaces. ---

- Dogs should be allowed to go everywhere - I only like a few people, and I only like them some of the time - Life is arbitrary, and you could die randomly at any moment - It is unfair that Christmas is foisted on non-Christians; I only buy gifts for my son so I’m not considered a bad father. - There is no afterlife - The country would be better off if certain politicians died - Good culture comes from bad treatment; the worse people are treated, the better their music, cuisine, and art ---

I don’t think that should be ‘unsayable.’ If my wife thought that something I prepared was awful, I would like her to say so. Maybe my desire is completely different from your hubbies but I thought I should say so. ---

This leads me to another one. I think a whole lot of people are in relationships that they shouldn’t be in. And I don’t mean movie-of-the-week abusive relationships. Just ones where they “love” each other, but don’t seem to actually like each other very much. There’s always some disagreement about things that makes one side or the other unhappy, they don’t seem to have much actually in common, one side keeps making sacrifices for the other, and I often get the feeling that they care a lot more about “not being single” than they do their partner. ---
