is there a program out there that can allow me to spead up my mp3’s play time? say, for example, like a 4 minute song that i can speed up to play completely within 4 seconds and still retain all the digital imformation from the original mp3? i just think it would be fun to mess around with.

You’ll probably want some sort of audio mixing program. I typed in “playback speed MP3” into [download.com](http://download.com)’s shareware search and thought you might try [JetAudio](http://download.com.com/3000-2167-10253372.html?tag=lst-0-1) (free).
