# Tell me your experiences with Dry Rot

There’s dry rot at my aunt’s house. [Piccies](http://s143.photobucket.com/albums/r139/quartz-quill/fungus/). An initial inspection has shown that it’s along much of the front of the first floor (that’s the floor above the street-level floor) at floor level, and has spread downwards to one room downstairs. A full inspection is being carried out in a month.

So please tell me of your experiences and give me your advice.

You cut out the area to somewhere beyond the dry rot and replace it.
