That was, um, unsettling. I was not familiar with the Beatles _'Til There was You_ so I went over to YT to play it (typical Brit enunciation, “… I never sar them at all …”) and then looked for the Shirley Jones version for comparison.

The latter version began with a bit of dialog,

_Miss Marion, you’re late._

_You said fifteen minutes._

_I didn’t mean that kind of late._

umm …

I’m very happy for Kizzy and Loki’s success. My play on ‘horrifying’ about Halloween costumes didn’t go over well, just poor delivery on my part. I do find this kind of spending somewhat… let’s just say notable. Otherwise it’s more fit for other forums to discuss, if at all necessary which it probably isn’t.

You’re cutting that off deliberately to try to make it seem lewd. The next line clearly states that he’s saying she should have started dating years before.

A little bump is needed for this thread - and happily I have just the thing. Musing the Mile High Stadium in Denver, an obvious question occurred to me. The answer is (very nearly) the **three mile** high stadium:

> **[Estadio Daniel Alcides Carrión](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estadio_Daniel_Alcides_Carri%C3%B3n)**
>
> Estadio Daniel Alcides Carrión is a multi-use stadium located in Cerro de Pasco, Peru. It is used by football team Unión Minas. The stadium holds 8,000 people and is the highest stadium in the world, with an altitude of 4,380 meters (13,973 ft) above sea level. This makes it very difficult for players who are not used to playing at this height and has caused some controversy.
> .mw-parser-output .geo-default,.mw-parser-output .geo-dms,.mw-parser-output .geo-dec{display:inline}.mw-parser-output .g...

And speaking of controversy, related is this:

> **[High-altitude football controversy](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-altitude_football_controversy)**
>
> The high-altitude football controversy arose in May 2007 when FIFA introduced a temporary ban on international matches at more than 2,500 metres (8,200 ft) above sea level, citing concerns about players' health and the "unfair" advantage to acclimatised home teams. The ruling meant that Bolivia, Ecuador, and Colombia would be prevented from hosting FIFA World Cup qualifiers in their own capital cities. The ban was revoked in May 2008.
> The ruling followed complaints by the Brazilian Football Co...

FIFA being the world governing body for soccer.

Regarding Bolivia playing at [Estadio Hernando Siles](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estadio_Hernando_Siles) in La Paz (at an altitude of 3,637 metres (11,932 feet) above sea level),

> During 2006, 2010, 2014 and 2018 World Cup qualifiers together, Bolivia had fourteen home wins and ten home draws, and only two away draws and no away wins.

Currently there doesn’t appear to be any altitude restriction applied by FIFA.

I thought for sure (before reading the article) that this was going to be around the Jennings area, where I remember there was a huge army ammunition plant right along I-70.

I grew up in the Ferguson/Florissant area in the 60s and 70s. When I was a kid we used to donate our baby teeth to science when they fell out. I don’t remember who was doing the study, but they were tracking some sort of radioactivity (strontium 90?) I wonder if that was related to this?

That’s because zoological nomenclature only goes down to subspecies names. While non-zoological nomenclature allows for even finer subdivisions, it does not allow the genus and species (and subspecies) names to be identical. Hence you will only ever find animals with identical genus, species, and subspecies names, and never four identical names.
