Temporarily stopping time

I’m pretty sure the original poster realizes that time wouldn’t actually stop, as he said the date would change as you cross the date line. But as for the local time, yeah, it could stay roughly the same. Of course minutes would tick by while you’re in a single time zone so it wouldn’t stay exactly the same, but you could keep it from changing much more than an hour by moving at the correct speed. And you could keep the sun in the same position in the sky.

I don’t think you’d be able to hear time slowing down, like on that documentary about Superman.

No, I mean it, when I pressed the ‘stop time’ button, literally NOTHING happened.

(Isn’t that kinda the definition of time stopping? Nothing can happen without time.)

:smack: I knew that too. Typo.

Photography is about the best anybody has done yet.

Can we stop time? Man, I wish we could.

Maybe you need music.

Simply brilliant! You win the thread.

But I’m noticing that oven also has a button labeled “Bake Time.” Stopping time, I think I can at least wrap my head around. But what does it mean to bake time? It has me vaguely worried.

It’s when time the time is always 4:20.
