This is in the mail from Amazon, and I should have it by Monday. Anyway, any Doper fans of the D? If so, have you seen this? What do you think? Tell me about it! Or just talk about Tenacious D, in general. As popular as they’re supposed to be, I just don’t hear much about them… ---

I hope to get this DVD for Christmas… I’ve got a really poor quality VHS of Tenacious D’s HBO show that’s a few years old now; it needs to be replaced. They’re a great group, great live, but honesly their show was the best thing they’ve done. Funny, campy, with great music; their album of a year or so ago was just too professional sounding. They rock… so hard. ---

I love this set. It’s astonishing to see how fat Jack Black was when they made the HBO series. ---

I borrowed it from my friend and have watched the entire thing. It is great. If you don’t mind getting your “ass blown out”, then watch this DVD! The concert footage is great, the extras are great. The HBO episodes are really, really great. And I would advise not watching any of the short films while eating. I thought nothing could gross me out. I was wrong about that. ---
