Hi

My partner is about 6 weeks pregnant. Everythings been going well. Just in the last few days she has been feeling tenderness in the lower right side of her stomach. She says it feels sore, but this feeling comes and goes. Also, she says her legs feel “a bit weird”, like shes got dead legs. The symptoms aren’t severe enough to have us seriously worried, but its a cause for concern even so. I wondered if any other ladies out there have experienced this. Is it normal, or should we go to see a doctor?

Thanks

Sounds perfectly normal. During pregnancy, hormones are released that soften the ligaments in that area, and twinges and soreness here and there are common.

Yep. Google “round ligament pain” and see if the description matches how she’s feeling.
