no I meant we were talking about lunch in general - so I made a leap of logic - sheesh - 😛 So I’m sitting here, minding my own, procrastinating like heck all over facebook - and I hear _::crash, tumble, crash, bang, thump, thud::_ - the little cheapo plastic brackets holding up the shelves in my pantry finally gave way - fortunately no broken glass or spillage since it was mostly canned goods that fell. but yikes. ---

This headless chicken is gonna lay down for a bit.(Gotta remember that one, rosie :D) The **DOGPARK!** was fun, if a bit damp. Gordie had a bit of a meltdown at the vet, poor guy must think I abandoned him like his last humans did.☹ I couldn’t post from the dog park, got a database error. ---

Would whoever sent TVCTPMO down south kindly take it back where it came from? :dubious: The trees are gone. Yay. Now… the garage door is busted. :mad: It needs two new springs. Weirdly enough, it will come down on its own electrically but not go up. Garage door guy (yes, I have one of those too) is supposed to call me back to tell me if there happen to be any of the springs I need in stock. If not they will have to be ordered. Ok, listen up TVCTPMO, I take it back. I don’t want new flooring. EVER! Not even if it all rots. I will not replace it. Now will you go away? **CutiePie** that sucks about your mom. Is this a big chain store or at least a mediumish one? I might have some ideas if it is. Prayers and good thoughts headed re your dad, too. I’m makin’ country fried steak and gravy, smashed **N.O.T.** , butter beans, squash and cornbread for supper just cause I need some good ol’ comfort food. Change of dindin plans. I’ve been told that I shall be fed courtesy of Sonny’s BBQ. YUM! Ol’ y’all know who is bringin’ ribs, baked beans, slaw and garlic bread from there for dindin. So, tonight’s menu shall be tomorrow’s menu. Of course all I needed to do was the country fried steak and gravy, smashed **N.O.T.** and cornbread, so it wasn’t gonna be all that bad. The veggies I did yesterday and just need nukin’. Anywho, I don’t gotta cook tonight, so YAY! **MOOOOOOM** I am convinced da cave is poed cause it doesn’t have a house payment anymore. It has decided to start makin’ me pay for stuff little by little to make up for that. 😃 ---

Where do songs that get stuck in your head come from? All of a sudden as I walked to the bathroom, in my head I started singing “I don’t wanna grow up! I’m a Toys R Us kid! There’s a million toys at Toys R Us that I can play with!” It has to be at _least_ ten years, probably considerably more, since I heard that. Why did I think of it now?? ---

Actually, closer to 25 years, because I was still living at home. I loved the first in that series with bouncing spiderish toy on the executive’s desk I have now successfully wasted 9 hours on facebook, and the day ain’t over yet. ---

**taxi** & **Puggy** , a pugalier is a cross between a pug and a Cavalier King Charles spaniel. It’s one of those designer cross-breeds that are all the rage… which is funny, considering once upon a time you’d just have called them a mutt and left it at that. 🙂 My dad’s pup definitely has more spaniel traits than most pugaliers do - she’s got the long feathery spaniel tail and ears, and her facial structure is more spaniel than pug. Haven’t seen **Moonie** in a while… he’s been in and out all summer, though, so I’m sure he’s just busy with school/life/whatever. My email server is misbehaving. It refuses to move emails to archive (which is a pain in the butt, because I’m way over my storage limit), and periodically boots me out of email altogether. I did call IT, but they spoke to me like I was a ten year old and advised me that it was probably all in my head. Hrmph. ---

[/QUOTE] Obviously, your house knows that you own it completely and that all breakdowns are entirely your responsibility. ☹ The “goes down but not up” behavior makes sense though - the opener was doing all it could to hold back the weight of the door when it was closing. Without the springs to balance it, a garage door is really heavy and wants to stay closed. At least you’re being smart and letting the garage door guy handle it. Garage door springs are one of the few things around a house that I will not touch. I have repaired subfloors, I have patched roofs, I have worked on hot electric panels, I have replaced gas furnaces. But I will not screw around with things that can break loose explosively and smash me in the head. ---

I just saw two deer in my back yard out in the woodsy part. Bernie knew there was somthing there, but her old eyes failed her. I saw 2 quick flashes of white before I moved and noticed a Mama and bebeh deer. Very cool. Sketties for supper - the sauce is being nuked to thaw. Then I’ll boil some angel hair and we’ll nom it down. \* I’s hongreeeee!!\* ---

Garage door guy is coming tomorrow to completely replace our garage door. ---

**CutiePie** , I don’t understand why the cashiers can’t sit down or why your Mom can’t at least use a cane to get around - it just doesn’t make any sense, the position of her employer. So sorry for her and for you folks. {{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}} In some bit of good news, I finally got to the pool and actually walked in the water! Yay! They had no problems with the short/bottoms part of my swim suit and I was able to walk for about 20-30 minutes. Felt so good, but then as I got out of the water, my legs felt more and more like blocks of cement. I’ve got a LONG way to go, apparently, so it’s twice a week to the pool, and maybe afterwards soaking for a bit in the hot tub there.
