Terrible episodes of great shows.

That 70’s show last season was just not good, at all.

“Mute” is an hour-long TZ episode and it is awful. A little girl who is a telepath is mistreated until her powers fade - and this is treated as a happy ending.

“Sweet Dreams” from Roseanne, s2e8 was painful to watch and listen to.

Many would argue that it is one of the best, at least for that season. (Okay, I would argue.)

Concur in toto. If you’re going to start worrying about suspension of disbelief on Angel, start with how a guy with no neck gets turned into a vampire.

Knowing Darla, she probably went for his femoral while she was in the area on other business. :stuck_out_tongue:

Thank you, that is now my headcanon.

Pretty much any Ferengi-centered episode in Deep Space Nine, with “Profit and Lace” being a particularly painful example.

Personally, I thought “Code of Honor” was (unintentionally) funny because of the racial stereotyping in this day and age, but to add to the discussion. . . .

One ep of “TNG” that stuck out to me was the one where they encounter. . . what were they? Some spaceship with aliens that might have needed some kind of help, and they communicated as though they were three- or four-year-old humans. Don’t recall the title, and don’t care enough to try digging for it.

Samaritan Snare…

Samaritan Snare and the Pakleds.

“Teeth are for chewing.”

I say anytime it was about any of them doing a show. Laura and Rob included. The same thing with I Love Lucy. I hated the episodes where Lucy and the gang did some performance. Blah

I also agree with the MASH episode where Hawkeye is pacing around the Korean family’s hut, talking non-stop to keep himself awake. In fact, that was the first thing that popped into my mind when I read the post title.

Dang. That’s easily one of my favorites.

I’ve been watching Green Acres reruns on MeTV lately. There is one episode wher Oliver goes back to the city for (reason) that was completely pointless other than as a backdoor pilot for a show that wasn’t picked up.

Speaking of the lousy fourth season of hourlong Twilight Zones, I submit for your consideration “Valley of the Shadow,” wherein the entire population of a backcountry small town is outfitted with space alien magical ray guns.

At least that one has James Doohan in it…

Then can I vote for The Brady Bunch episode that’s about a completely different family?

For me Twilight Zone’s worst episode was The Bewitchin’ Pool, followed closely by any that starred Jack Klugman.

**Friends **was the one where a very pregnant Rachel and Joey go on a date. Blecch. Closely followed by any involving childbirth.

Seinfeld: The backwards episode. Probably the only one I’ve only seen once.

Brady BunchThe first episode. I know they had to spend most of the time on the setup but if it wasn’t basically the only thing on for a kid to watch, I would have passed.

Breaking Bad’s fly episode has been mentioned a few times, but I want to mention it again. I loved the series, but if I never saw it and watched the fly episode as my first exposure, I’d have never watched another episode.
