Romour mongers are at it again, creating panic. Today there were reports of second round of firing in CST railway station and near Reseve Bank building , both turned out to be false. People are scared . Cops shut down the news channels in Mumbai to prevent the terrorists from lerning about commando movemnt , and asked them not to carry live visuals to other parts. Right now ( 5.50 PM) Trident hotel is reported cleared, Taj heritage has a lone terrorist and some hostages. Taj tower is reported safe and clear . And ISI chief is coming to India ,per request of our PM to share intelligence . Just now a part of the building where the jewish rabbi and others are held , has collapsed possibly in a granade explosion. ---

What happened to the Oberoi? Is it now called the Trident, or were there three hotels involved? ---

Then again, there has been a disturbing amount of news content given over to the implications of the attack on the international cricket scene. It was the first link putting ‘australian india’ into google news - the attacks were the _third_. ---

The one commissioned in 1903 ( Taj heritage) and the one bulit in 70s ( Taj towers). Oberoi keeps changing it’s name due to the tie-up with international hotel chains. All 3 were attacked and now they are totally sanitised . Estimated cost of rebuilding TAJ is 100 million USD. The captured gunman says he is from Pakistan. This is bound to deeply strain the Indo-Pak relationship. ---
