On 3rd November, **yanceylebeef** informed us that Terry Pratchett suffered a minor stroke [here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=442648&highlight=terry+pratchett+stroke). Well, latest news from [Paul Kidby.com](http://www.paulkidby.com/news/index.html) says that the stroke was the result of a “_rare form of early onset Alzheimer’s_” :eek: But TP is stoic about it and promises a few more books before…well, you know. ☹ ---

Dammit! I hate that disease, too. I was worried when I heard about the stroke but at least it is possible to recover from a stroke. ---
