On the other hand, they don’t go on and on _ad nauseam_ about the difference between irrational and rational but unjustifiable beliefs, either, so they’ve got that going for them. Just kidding. ---

I’d argue that NO Christian takes the whole bible literally. (No one thinks there’s a physical “firmament” holding up the water in the sky, for instance. And yesiknow young earthers explain that the firmament went away during the flood, to which I say, where in the bible does it say that?) ---
