They can if they’re designed to. Think of it this way. You could fill a pool with a garden hose or a fire hose. Just one is quicker then the other.

If I had the money I would buy a Tesla, ASAP. People are waiting until they have the infrastructure to arrive fist, but the infrastructure won’t get there until the cars are there first.
