"Test" icon on Desktop - Keylogger?!?

I found a program called Snoopfree Privacy Shield and installed it on my desktop, will install on my laptop as well.

Yes, even I explained to Projammer that he would be the prime suspect because he fits the profile (IT, computer geek, SO, etc). The one thing that debunks that theory is simply the fact that there was a trace left. SO wouldnt have been that sloppy (trust me, I’ve seen his work!) And I have left my laptop alone with him on many occassions, so if he had planted it he wouldve seen the “evidence” and either deleted or corrected it.

I did let my daughter use the laptop when she was visiting during xmas. It is possible that it happened then (afterall, I had to put a password on my desktop because she kept downloading kazaa and other crap programs and ended up locking my puter down with a nasty trojan). She didnt download any programs (that i know of) but i wouldnt be surprised if she opened an attachment somewhere it had planted itself to.

All-in-all, not pointing fingers at anyone - it was caught before damage was done.
