Every poster’s profile page has a link to their last post. It looks like this:
[http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?postid=](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?postid=) **NNNNNNN** #post **NNNNNNN**
Replace the **NNNNNNN** (in both places) with the postid of the post you want to link to. You can find the post id by moving your mouse over the quote button for the desired post and looking at your browser’s status bar.
Here is another tip. If you want to see how someone coded something in their post, click on the quote button. Their post with the coding will be in the reply box.
