All rope has a certain test strength of amount of weight that it can hold. I have heard many times that floss is an extremely strong thread for its size and it is recommended to take it hiking. I am wondering… what is the test weight of dental floss? We tried to test this but our only sample was the waxed variety and we were having difficulties tying a suffiecient knot. that was our point of weakness. Could you please let us know.
Thanks.
