# testing (disregard)

I thought I’d use this post to do some testing of my own. Hope you don’t mind.

Will my cut and paste of the “not equal to” sign work? If so, then it will appear between these two horizontal lines:

* * *

Regular size: ≠  
Bumped up a bit: ≠

* * *

Well…?

I hope it does, 'coz it’s a very handy sign…

Just be aware, **Spiff** , that anything other than standard Latin-alphabet ASCII won’t show up correctly on everyone’s screens. Using Mozilla on Mac OSX, I can correctly see your not-equal symbol, but others (especially those using older browsers or operating systems) might not.
