[In this post](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=6356575), **FinnAgain** manages to make a link out of whole quote. This is cool! I’m trying to figure out how.

This seems to work:[

> [@Google](#):
>
> This is Google.

]([http://www.google.com/](http://www.google.com/))

```php
[
[quote=Google]
This is Google.
[/quote]
](http://www.google.com/)
```

And I can quote-link another post:[

I asked this once myself [here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=298860). The answer seemed to be “It’s a vBulletin bug”

Interesting, but that seems to be a different effect. I’m fully enclosing the quote inside the url tags, as opposed to just enclosing the opening quote tag.

I noticed that too when I saw **FinnAgain** do it. I will have to us it some time.
