Continuing the discussion from [Why do so many posters have trouble staying on topic?](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/why-do-so-many-posters-have-trouble-staying-on-topic/1027125/105):

@puzzlegal suggested I create this thread to find out whether I can reset it to normal, and whether I can mute it.

So here it is. I thought it fits better in site feedback than in ATMB, so also tried switching the forum. I think that worked.

I’ll come back in a while and try resetting.

“Muted” also shows up among the list of options. I don’t think I’ll actually mute it, though.
