Man if this wasn’t the crappiest app update I’ve ever seen in the history of both crap and app updates. I might go back to browser-based reading.

I agree; I hate the new Tapatalk interface. It doesn’t help that it took me forever to figure out how to browse the forums.

It’s utterly dreadful. What’s most annoying is that people paid for a Tapatalk Pro app that was excellent and then had to give it up to use the same inferior free version as everyone else after Tapatalk relaunched. With every update since the interface has gotten more and more unusable and less practical. Go to the App Store now and it’s got only 1 star, with scathing reviews. If they rolled back two versions it would improve the app infinitely but I suspect, to save face, they’ll just attempt to modify this car crash of an update.

I found the .apk for the earlier version of Tapatalk that I preferred and I use that. I’m not sure if it is still available. This is the version that I paid for that they later gutted of features and made “free”.
