# Testing

How do you do quotes without that quote thingy we used to have? Maybe this will work.

Now, how do you do that nifty URL thingy without the little coding-for-dummies buttons we used to have?

We still have the quote thing we used to have. In the corner of each post, there’s a button labelled “reply”. That’s the quote thing. And we still have the coding-for-dummies URL thingy, too: It’s the button with a little globe and a couple of links of chain. But if you want to do without, then you use the URL tag, like such:

[The Straight Dope, by Cecil Adams](http://www.straightdope.com)

becomes

[The Straight Dope, by Cecil Adams](http://www.straightdope.com)
