We had 7 in our group today. It was great meeting these nice Dopers in 3D! The venue was very nice, and we had a table above and next to the Guadalupe River with a nice view. Nicely done, @ **ThelmaLou** , and thank you!

Here are two pictures we managed to get of our group.

Before @ **Velocity** arrived, from left to right: **ThelmaLou, Bullitt, Mrs Bullitt, FloatyGimpy, Inna, JohnT**

After lunch we walked over to some live music at the Historic Gruene Dance Hall next door (built 1878; claimed, oldest in Texas; [wiki link](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gruene_Hall))

At Gruene Hall (“Gruene” is “green”), on the wall are some pics of John Travolta from the movie, Michael (1996) which was filmed there and in the surrounding towns

All in all, a good day. Now it’s time for an eclipse. Woo-hoo!
