# Texas Hill Country Dope Fest! (San Antonio TX, “SATX”)

Bumped. For some reason I must’ve whomped my imgur post and didn’t realize it was pointed to by my post upthread. I just noticed this. Not sure what I was thinking when I did that. Anyway, I’ve reconstructed it.

We had 7 in our group today. It was great meeting these nice Dopers in 3D! The venue was very nice, and we had a table above and next to the Guadalupe River with a nice view. Nicely done, @ **ThelmaLou** , and thank you!

After lunch we walked over to some live music at the Historic Gruene Dance Hall next door (built 1878; claimed, oldest in Texas; [wiki link](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gruene_Hall))

At Gruene Hall (“Gruene” is “green”), on the wall are some pics of John Travolta from the movie, Michael (1996) which was filmed there and in the surrounding towns
