I don’t think I approach poker and mafia the same way. For that matter, I don’t approach poker and poker the same way. Poker at a staked tournament or online is different than poker with friends and beer.
Mafia is more like friendly poker than a SNG tourney online. I want mafia to be fun. And while, sure, winning is fun, I’ve avoided employing non-fun game-breaking strategies in the past.
@Oslo: The concept isn’t mine, but the phrasing is, as far as I know.
