He was mentioned before, but i gotta bring him up again… Robert Earl Keen… one of Texas’s finnest… i also think that girl Miranda Lambert (on Nashville star) is going to make it big… she already has a huge fan base in texas… ---

Austin City Limits is available to any PBS station nationally. CMT also shows old episodes nationally. ---

Um…Selena wasn’t from Texas…she was from somewhere in Mexico but spent a LOT of time in Corpus.Thus the roadside(beachside???)landmark The Overlook of the White Rose(El pasar por alto de la Rose blanca)in Corpus along the seawall. IDBB ---

The Legendary Stardust Cowboy (Norman Odam) - Lubbock. David Bowie liked his single “Paralyzed” so much that he took part of his name for the character Ziggy Stardust. If you like, sometime I can cruise by the Buddy Holly statue here in Lubbock and check out the “Lubbock walk of fame”, perhaps get you a few more names. ---
