Just fucking gross.

Though credit where credit is due for Trump’s consistency. He doesn’t and never has actually given a shit about the tribal Democrat vs Republican divide. As always he has no actual ideology - only followers and sufficiently subservient “allies” vs enemies. In an alternate universe he might well have ended up as a performative liberal-posing Democratic Party populist like Huey Long, it’s just that his brand works better in the fall-in-line mentality of the modern Republican party.
