But unreasonable requests were made not with glee nor satisfaction but with the general resignation of “yep, this is what we’re asking, and we’d appreciate not being given a hard time about it.” A completely unresponsive reply. The issue is what was confiscated, not what kind of manners anyone had. You’re a Republican, aren’t you? I’m not even sure how to respond to this. Of the many emotions that this can be said to have engendered in me _jealousy_ is not one of them. Problem is that I do understand the “why” of it. It is to humiliate those who are exercising their democratic right to peaceful dissent and to dissuade others from doing so. I really can’t believe that I have to point this out to you - seeing as it should be blatantly obvious. You can not hurt someone with a tampon, you cannot get much distance or force throwing them. Certainly not as much damage potential as say, throwing a .45 at someone. Or you know…shooting them. I suppose that if it was used that would constitute a biohazard. And I would agree that they should not be allowed if it is outside its habitat and potentially being contemplated as a projectile. ---
