She has a point. I’m more than a little creeped out by some of the posts in this thread, especially since some of the cheerleaders at my high school are under the age of consent.

I know, I know, they’re a stereotype of slutty, uninhibited behavior. But a lot of the reactions here just aren’t humorous–they’re just downright creepy.

I thought this was a board of fighting ignorance, not a Penthouse forum for all your perverted thoughts about underage cheerleaders.

And for what it’s worth, I am not an ugly hag who doesn’t swallow. So you can cram that potential comeback up your ass.

Now, now, perhaps young **AmY** has simply jumbled her words in her haste to contribute her mite to the philosophical musings illuminating the discussion. Perhaps what she really intended to say was “Old sux men dirty” – a trenchant observation on the ravages of age.

This has to be the most ironic post I’ve read in weeks, if not months. Hell, maybe even the entire two and a half years I’ve posted here.

Also, minus the last paragraph, what **Nocturne** said.

Some in this thread would never understand why Lester Burnham doesn’t screw the cheerleader in **American Beauty**.

Obviously they also don’t get how those they objectify would find them vile and repulsive.

Ease up. Most guys here were in high school back in the past and lusted after the cutest cheerleader in their class. It brings back memories and they are expressing those very feelings as if they were still in high school now. None of these guys are gonna go seek out this school and try to hit on one of them. If anything, some of these guys are probably thinking of what those cheerleaders from their class look like now. I know it’s a crude display of memories, but when was the last time you’ve seen a 30, 40, 50, 60+ year old cheerleader shakin’ it lately for the “dirty old men”? Since Amy is an old crusty vet with 2 posts under her belt, I figure she’s got to put on her +3 hyde of thickness and not go l33t on us. It is The Pit afterall.

Are you saying that there aren’t any older women here who don’t drool over the physiques of the younger quarterbacks or other athletic types? I’m pretty sure there’s some threads rolling around here with hot young beefcake fantasies.

I appreciate what you’re saying here, **Yeticus** , but I haven’t really seen any indication that they’re only expressing feelings “as if they were still in high school.”

As for women lusting after underage men, I think it’s just as creepy, and it’s something I’ve never understood either. I just haven’t happened across any on the boards lately, and it’s very rare that I see women getting graphic about younger men.

This is just an attitude that seems to be more common in regards to men viewing women as nothing but sex objects, especially if said women are high-school cheerleaders. I understand it’s a fetish, and plenty of people have fantasies they’d never act out in real life. It still creeps me out. Why? Maybe because I was a cheerleader at 14, but at 14 men twice and three times my age thought it was okay to make extremely sexual suggestive comments to me and not take “no” for an answer.

I understand people are sexual creatures and I’m not a prude. I do get tired of rampant, creepy objectification going on in places (like this thread) that were not specifically set up for said objectification. It gets really old, and it’s not funny anymore–it’s just really, really unpleasant.

I’m not pissed off or overwrought about it, it just bugs me. That’s all–no real vitriol here.

As a husband and a father of three, I would never throw all that away for a roll with someone half my age. Never saw the movie to root the poor bastard on either…that’s not my thing. I think you’re missing the point too. It’s all about the cheerleading uniform, not the girl in it…just like some women dig guys in uniforms.

Ok **Nocturne** , I see your point. There are definitely creeps out there that obsess over girls in cheerleading outfits, but I just don’t think that they’re all hanging out here…they are probably on porn sites looking for the pics right now instead of posting on the Dope. My oldest son is in high school now, and I’ve seen some of the girls in his school doll up for prom night looking like 25-30 year olds…I did double takes thinking which one is the mom and which one is the girl? (I was chaperoning at the time) They really can blur the line sometimes…maybe I think I’m better off just gouging my eyes out instead of staring and wondering who’s who. I do appreciate beauty though, I just won’t chase it, pin it down and put a notch on my belt.

And my post was a parody of those legislators who obsess over cheerleader routines and costumes, even if I do think some (a small minority) push the limits of taste and decency for public school standards.

College and Pros are another matter entirely, and not really the subject of the proposed legislation.

Then we’re in agreement. No big deal. 🙂

And yes, I know what you mean about looking older. I have a picture from when I was 13, all dolled up, and I could easily pass for 16-18. It’s a little scary.

This is the best that they can come up with to morally, and ridiculously, object to?

What about all of the cheers that these harlots are shouting? Always “Fight Fight Fight.” Promotes a culture of violence it does. And all the hitting that’s done in football, that’s right out. Kids get hurt that way.

I for one look forward to the day when ankle length skirt clad cheerleaders loudly advocate sportsmanship to flag football players clad in a layer of protective (and non-suggestive) nerf padding.

Look, it’s _fun_ to toss these kind of comments out at times, and if the subject had been thong bikini’s on the average female beach goer in Texas, we’d all be here making similar comments. It’s a nice way to releave the sexual tension because we know, no matter how cute, and no matter how nubile she might be, we’re **not** going to touch an underage cheerleader (or non-cheerleader, for that matter). For some of us, it might be the fact that it’s illegal, for others of us it might because we want a woman who’s emotionally and intellectually mature as well as physically mature. The guys who you have to worry about are the ones who don’t say anything at all or sit off in a corner, muttering to themselves. _Those_ are the guys who are most likely to go after underage women.

And, while I’m **not** advocating sleeping with underage folks, age differences (so long as they’re between adults), shouldn’t really be that big of a deal. Some of the most enjoyable relationships in my life have often been with people who are significantly older or younger than myself. I’m not even talking romatic or sexual relationships here, just simple friendships. One of my best friends is twice my age, and as far as our interests go, in many ways, he and I have more in common than my friends who are my own age. My 13 year old nephew, is one of my favorite family members to spend time with, since he hasn’t developed a facade of a personality like many of the others.

Yeah, some of it did come across that way. Some of it didn’t, at least not to me. I’m not saying everyone who posted in here is a nasty lecher and he/she should be considered an SDMB Untouchable forever and ever. I’m just saying that SOME of the comments can come off as ICKY.

I should’ve made that clear from the first, though, so mea culpa. I definitely didn’t want to ruffle feathers like this, so if you were offended, I apologize.

Oh, and this post is directed to **Tuckerfan** , too. Since it was all in fun, (or at least that’s what I’m getting now), I retract my comments, and apologize.

First of all: not always are the guys you have to worry about the ones who never talk about their attractions to underage girls. A guy stalked me when I was 14–he was 22–and he made no bones about prefering girls who were 12-15. And he wasn’t a corner-mutterer, either…he was a pretty “upstanding” guy.

Second of all: I’m cool with big age differences. I wouldn’t have married someone 15 years older than I am if I wasn’t. 🙂

Jesus Christ, **Bosda**. You’re not funny. Keep repeating it to yourself until you fucking get it, okay? You are not funny. You have never been funny. You are a literal Black Hole of Funny. I can see all the humor in the Universe disappearing over your event horizon.

5% of your posts are a waste of electrons. If I could make the other 95% make sense, they’d probably be a waste too. Unfortunately you speak a dialect of English only known to extraterrestrial inbreds. **bj0rn** regularly made more sense.

The really sad thing is that you have no idea when to shut the fuck up.
