Hmmm… Two I can think of off the top of my head are Utopia and Earth 2025. Both are strategic war games though. Not up most peoples ally.

There are still some BBS’s floating around that run old school text based games in fantasy and Sci-fi settings. Some are even RPG’s. Primitive, yes, but that seems like what your looking for.

How about any of the old infocom games? Zork 1,2, and 3 can be found [here](http://www.csd.uwo.ca/Infocom/) but there are others as well.

Incidentally, does anyone know where I can get a GUE Tech shirt?
