So I’ve sent three texts to Suzy now, and she hasn’t replied to any of them. But there isn’t a red X next to any of them, so I know she hasn’t deleted them. She _could_ be busy because I know she lost her checkbook and she might still be looking for it. Should I send her another one or just give up? ---

Being a math guy, I can sympathize with the OP because I hate having discussions with people that can’t accept that maybe they are in over their head in a discussion. Why does it matter if you write a check or pull out cash? (my child support was always via cashiers check) I also vote for booze and whores. As long as you’re being blamed for it … Are you two on _The Amazing Race_ right now? If so, I bet I know what team you two are. “What happens when two friends fight?” “They make up?” ---

It would be marked by a picture of a lawyer instead of a red X next to your texts. ---
