Text scam - from post office? Yes or No?

Just so you know, this one, and related ones (FedEx especially) come up frequently in our Scam Omnibus thread. Most recently, I mentioned it came up again for me on 10/10/2023:

Had yet another “USPS needs complete information to deliver your package” SMS messages, but I felt insulted. It came from a HOTMAIL address all nice and open! Really, I felt that they could have at least tried harder to scam me.

The lack of professionalism in these dirty, rotten filthy rat-bastards is the last straw!
