It would still be a girl on the game. Whether you have sex or not is up to you, but she’d still expect remuneration. “Good” girls don’t travel around with farangs unless they’re already in some sort of relationship. But yes, that would not be difficult to arrange.
The Aussies I know generally do seem to be a thirsty lot. Saturday night, I was out in Khao San Road with an English friend who was waiting for some friends from Adelaide to fly in. They showed up, six strong, five men and a lady. Four of the guys my friend knew, while the other man and the lady were new to him. But the four whom he knew, they come here to Thailand once or twice a year or more, literally for decades now. Nice people. But it’s been awhile since I greeted the dawn in Patpong like I did this morning (Sunday morning), as that’s where we finally ended up.
(As I was walking off to go find a taxi on Silom Road, a ladyboy hooker kept following me in hopes I’d pick him up. It was fully 7am by then. Man, they can be persistent.)
(No, I did not pick him up.)
Just for the record, I’m still alive and kicking (though mostly kicking these days).
Not an Aussie, but I haul from the Southern Hemisphere so it has to count for something!
I’ve traveled with Thai female friends, definitely not in the game, on a few occasions without any bother.
There’s all sort of people everywhere, some women here are confident enough to hang out with guys without expecting things getting… complicated.
Even more amazing, there are some women that allow their boyfriends to hang out with girls without giving them the stinky eye.
Okay, but at least you were already friends. It’s pretty rare that a fresh-off-the-boat tourist here is going to find a Thai girl to go traveling with who’s just your everyday lass.
