My redhead thread has so many hijacks already, I figured I’d start a new one. Thanks for asking about my opera audition - I didnt get in, but when 81 people were auditioning for six openings, and the auditors wanted to take as many Danish citizens as they could, well, one cant get one’s hopes up too high. I feel that I did a good job, and that’s the most important thing. Speaking of auditions, Ive sent an audition tape to the music dept at San Francisco State U - today’s the day they listen to it. _Scarlet crosses her fingers_ A tape is almost worse, 'cause I have no way of knowing how theyre reacting to it. Of course, I can cheat, and just send in the best takes. 😃 ---

Sorry, **Scarlet** , that you didn’t get in but I’m glad to hear you’re not taking it _too_ hard. I hope the SFSU audition goes better. Auditioning like that is so far beyond my comfort zone that I’m amazed anyone can do it. You’ve got a lot of courage and, it sounds like, a lot of talent to back it up. Good luck. Stick with it. It’ll happen.
