**Rune** , you got any countering facts you’d like us to consider, or are you, like your fellow ideologue in the thread title, still just pissed at reality’s constant, stubborn refusal to fit your preferred conceptions of it? Believe it or not, GD isn’t simply an Argument Clinic. That’s what the Pit is for, among other things. In GD, we \*fight \* ignorance - such as **Sam** ’s, and, when you chime in with it, yours, for example. Since you bring it up, nobody is clamoring for Sam’s banning as you claim, only for his developing a sense of principle and respect for fact based on something a little higher than strict partisanship toward a party he can only wish he could join. You might try it yourself and see what happens. Or try FreeRepublic instead if that effort is just too painful. Schmuck. Damn, the Washington Times just got cited in support of Bush, didn’t it? I’ve seen no such call, unless you count the press digging up their money source, but that’s not “investigating” these dicks in any sort of personal way, it’s just pertinent information. These guys are heavily funded by rich Shrub supporters from Texas. ---

I can only speak for myself, I’ve been known to ‘give in’ or have allowed my stance to become altered by new/further information. All I’m saying is that some on the left here are pretty steadfast in their positions, regardless. Which is just as wrong as those on the right who refuse to budge, regardless. You seem pretty stiff yourself. For you to point the finger seems rather, well, hypocritical. ---

You narrowed it down to me. Okay. If you can point to your favorite instances where I’ve flouted the facts, or ignored or filtered them in a way I’ve been shown but kept on doing it, let’s have it, pard. Otherwise you’re just namecalling, ya see? But you don’t have to narrow it down. You made a general disparaging comment about “the left” on this board and its general intellectual honesty. That’ll do too - you were already asked for some specific examples, and you haven’t come through with any at all, just a repetition of the same whine. As we say back in old country, put up or shut up. ---

Thankyou. In my above posts I purposely equated the left with the right. You chose to ingnore that fact and called me out for bashing the left. I did not do that. What I said is that the left and the right are _both_ bad when they fail to take into consideration all the facts and rely on those that support their political agenda.
