Wesley you do realize that this was primarily the result of the overwhelming support of the 30% of Alabama which is Black? Yup I’m aware. I’m glad black people turned out, there were fears blacks would only make up 20-25% of voters in this election. Them turning out and voting 96% Jones swung the election. Once again, just like in Virginia, there are massive differences between college educated vs high school educated whites. The high school educated whites are about ~40 points to the right of college educated ones. But high school and college educated non-whites voted about the same. Someone should study that. ---

I don’t always close threads because they duplicate topics in other forums but I’m going to do so this time. A) this belongs in Elections. B) as I check right now the top 4 threads in Elections are about the Alabama election. There is also at least one thread in GD and one in The Pit.
