I can’t remember in what threads the following books/authors were suggested but, wow, thanks a lot.

First and foremost; Dorothy Sayers, I have been on a Lord Peter Wimsey fest for the past 3 months. Reading the books, watching the videos and researching DS’s writings/life. And trying to do that damn cross-word puzzle.

I Capture the Castle; I would never have picked up this book without a SD recommendation. Loved it.

Cold Comfort Farm; See above.

The Flashman books by George MacDonald Fraser.

Woot, I’ve had a great reading spring/winter. Thanks to all.

And we should add:

- can you lend me some money?

- does your wife like to ride?

- have you got anything to drink?

🙂

Your next reading assignment is George MacDonald Fraser’s **The Pyrates** , which is about pirates, as you may have guessed, and is quite possibly the funniest book ever written.

Try the various books of Nero Wolfe by Rex Stout. I wasn’t too impressed by Stout’s other books and characters, but Wolfe is a joy to read.
