I’d like to say thank you to all the well-meaning people from my two trainwreck threads. I really appreciate your advice and fully intend on delving into my mental illness further. I believe that my destructive behavior may be explained & dealt with, not excused, mind you, by looking at this with some professional help.
I’m so glad that thread is closed. This has been very painful, and I intend on working on things with Hub and trying to fix myself. I’m clearly broken, and to the kind people who pointed that out and finally made it stick, I’m really grateful.
Please forgive me.

I’m going to suggest you take a break from the boards. You have a lot of emotional issues to work out, and you need to keep your head in real life for the time being.
The fact that you recognize your mess is a good start. I wish you well in sorting things out. I’m just sorry it took two train wreck threads to get through to you.

I concur with this. I’d seriously consider approaching the staff with a request to be put on a posting sabbatical for a little while. When you’re ready to come back, we’ll still be here. Good luck to you.

I, too, wish you and your family the best of luck, **MizGrand**. I also think, however, that we’ve (as in the SDMB) probably discussed the whole thing a wee bit too much. I’m closing this thread, not as a comment on you or your situation (or based on anything said in this thread), but because the whole thing has played itself out enough, I think, in the previous (closed) threads and the three hundred new ones in the Pit.
