The thread about my father was deleted. Thank you to Tuba and Ellen and the rest of the staff for acting so quickly to my request. Also thanks to all who participated in that thread for your advice. Please don’t comment on the contents of that thread here. For safety reasons, I do not wish for this to be publicly discussed. I will work this out privately among friends and family. **Pdoul** , good luck. But you, and anyone else concerned about internet security, should be aware that since the SDMB has been in a cooperative relationship with Google that even though your thread has been deleted from the SDMB it still is searchable and can be found in the cache files of Google. Both pages of your recent post are still available. Something to remember when posting private information on the web, it never really goes away if you know how to look. Shouldn’t Google replace the snapshot within a (relatively) short period of time, though? It’s not like it’s the Internet Archive, saving things forever.
