# Thanks for shortening the search cooldown

Maybe there’s already been a thread but if not: Thank you for taking it from 2 minutes to 10 seconds. That will save aggravation. The 2 minute cooldown was a less-than-charming reminder of the augustness of the place.

Yes! I have been meaning to say thanks for this for a while now. It has removed a small but nagging irritant from my life and I am grateful.

We are definitely an august group but I’d call the erstwhile delay for repeat searches more a reminder of the site’s once bare-bones server.

While I prefer the internal search function, isn’t the board is now fully indexed and searchable by Google?

Yep. I generally use that one more often, too.
