Bean soup is simmering away - it should be done in about 15 minutes. Bread is done and cooling. Butter is room temp, so perfect for spreading. Supper will be yum. The torrents have stopped, but it’s still raining. Our mail has come, but I don’t want to walk alllllllllll the way down the driveway - it’s almost 100’!!! 😃 ---

I have partaken of Slytown style Eyetalian vittles. They were good. The ravioli was very tasty and plentiful! The sallit had baby spinach, froufrou green sallit stuff, roma maters, thinly sliced apple, sugared pee-kahns and a vinaigrette dressin’ with a hint of raspberry. No dessert was had by anyone cause we gots stuffded! And that’s the report from swampland ---

Higgs is sorta off _The List_ - she didn’t start making noise till nearly 6 this morning. And since I was more or less rested, I got up. The cats, on the other hand… in the dining room, the tablecloth and most of the place mats were bunched up at one end of the table, except for the place mat that was on the floor. I guess last night was Feline WWE Championship Night or something. But I was going to remove the table covers anyway - everyone is leaving today and I’ll be back to eating at the coffee table in the living room. They’re taking off around 11, which will get them to Duke before supper time. FIL has to meet with his anesthesiologist at 7:30 tomorrow morning and surgery is just after noon. If all goes well, they’ll return to Ocala on Tuesday. Good thought and healing vibes will be greatly appreciated. Surgery is tough enough, but when you’re 84… As for me, I’ve got a little laundry to do today, but mostly I plan to chill. \*\*FCD \*\*took all the trash and recycling yesterday, so apart from a load of towels and a load of sheets, I really don’t have anything to do. Maybe I’ll run the vacuum just for giggles. 😃 Happy Sunday!! ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ 'Tis 37 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 64 and sunny for the day. All in all a not to shabby Winter’s day. Not a bad deal, buy one N.O.L. or dindin for full-price get the other half off. I foresee some fried shrimpies in my near future! YUM! Ok, now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy is hongry. Then, purtification for deheathenization must commence. Happy Sunday Y’all! ---

Home alone. They just left. My bleeding has stopped (no thanks to a certain pug who launched herself off me, digging her claws into my left arm and giving me 3 nice, long scratches) and the laundry is laundering. Shortly, I will assume the position and watch some Netflix. I think there’s some chocolate ice cream in the fridge… 😃 ---

We have dump runs to complete and they must be completed before noon because the trailer needs to be returned by then. However, hubby is still snoozing away. I will have to wake him shortly. I also need to go to the grocery store because I don’t have any real groceries in the house. I need to buy some meat, milk, fruit, bread, etc. I would have done it yesterday except the Seahawks game was one and it was very, very, very nasty outside. While today will still be wet, it won’t be anything like yesterday. We took two of our friends out to dinner last. They were freaking out thinking we had some big news for them; news like I was moving to Spain or that we had won the lottery or something. We did it just because we were feeling good about how much we’ve accomplished on settling the estate and were just feeling better about things overall. I can’t believe it’s already Sunday. My weekend needs more weekend! ---
