Just a positive message in the midst of what y’all might be feeling as quite a bit of stress…
I disagree with y’all quite a bit, but I do think you take reports, complaints, and criticism seriously, and I greatly appreciate it. And I don’t think I’m alone. By no means will this temper my criticism, but I still love the board and I’m still greatly appreciative of all you do, especially because it’s entirely uncompensated. Thank you!

Maybe my view is different since I agree with the OP but … I don’t see what your issue is. Sometimes I agree and sometimes I don’t but overall the Mods here are pretty freaking great.

Thing is that one brown noses when trying to get something from someone. There is nothing to be gotten here by actually observing that for all the crap they get the subgroup of us who give time and effort to make this place run as well as possible are in fact doing their best and mostly that best is pretty good.
It’s easy to bitch.
Kudos to the op for making the effort to say thanks and I’ll pile on!
And remember that those whose heads are up their ass might want to wipe off their brown if they ever pop out.

Even when I disagree with a decision by the moderators, they show that they work with due consideration and are thoughtful before giving judgement. As a group they do their best to be fair and that’s all you can ask for. Their pay should be doubled if not tripled.

i dont think they get paid… but yeah they deserve something cause there’s more rule lawyers here then the tabletop RPG convention i went to in 92 …and that was at a basketball arena …

As a person who sits on a volunteer town planning board (and sometimes vehemently disagrees with one or more of the other members): I’d like to second that.

I agree that the mods here are great. They are what make this board “livable.”
I browse some other boards that don’t have much modding and don’t have many rules/policies. They can be chaos. Threads can go on for tens of thousands of posts! People break out into feuds and no one shuts it down.
Long may they reign!

I agree as well. The mods aren’t perfect but they do a pretty good job. We don’t have threads full of spam nor do they often get hijacked with politics or religion.

Thank you mods. I can’t fathom dealing with the complainers here on top of the stress of your normal lives. You have to parse through threads you probably have zero interest in. You get crapped on from all sides, you come out smiling, and you do it for free. Keep up the good work.
