I’m starting this thread due to popular demand (me and **spoons** that is). Post a tune or name one on the list. Artists’ names appreciated but not required (only because _I_ sometimes know the name of the song but don’t know who in the hell sings it). The only rule is that the song must have wide lapels, sansibelt pants, a nylon shirt and jelly sandals. It’s Name That Tune-- 70’s edition. Here are a bunch to start off with: 1.Sometimes I’m right and I can be wrong My own beliefs are in my song. 2.I cried out when I want to Out of school County fair in the summer sun and everything is cool. 3.We met down at the boder of Rio Grand Eat the salted peanuts out the can. 4.Well, you started out with nothing and you’re proud that you’re a self-made man. All you’re friends, they come around, slap you on the back and say please. 5.Mama done chase Willie down through the halls But laugh, Willie, laugh he don’t care at all. 6.Nothing’s the matter with your head baby. Find it. Come on and find it. 7.Our love is like a ship on the ocean. We’ve been sailing with a cargo full of love and devotion. 1. Darkness all around me blocking out the sun. Friends call me but I just don’t feel like talking to anyone. 9.I try to play my music, they say my music’s too loud I tried talking about it and got the big run around. And when I roll with the punches I got knocked to the ground By all this bullshit going down. 1. All the good love when we’re all alone. Keep it up girl, yeah you turn me on. ---
