Cynthia Plaster Caster has also cast women’s breasts, and has said, not surprisingly, that she’s never had a “failure” in that department. This reminds me of my Biology I & II days, when we learned that people are pretty much the only mammals that do not have a designated penis bone, and in the practical exams, that was one anatomical specimen that everyone identified correctly. 🍆 ---

Not a museum as such but the Museum of Modern Art in Tasmania, Australia is famous for having a wall comprising entirely plaster casts of vulvas. I won’t link to it but if you search “Great Wall of Vaginas” you’ll find it. ---

Another famous band groupie Sweet Sweet Connie died last year. Connie Hamzy lived in my city, Little Rock. She occasionally made the local news for fines and legal stuff. Nothing bad. It’s a strong reminder of how quickly our lives are passing by. ---

The stepmother of the title character in the British dark comedy _Fleabag_ is a sculptor who, among other things, makes casts of men’s schlongs. At one of her shows, she has a wall-full of them on display. The sculptor playfully asks her stepdaughter if she recognizes her father’s among them all and is somewhat disconcerted when she instantly, and correctly, points it out.
