# That "CE" logo

I work in a hospital. For the last several years, I have noticed this “CE” logo on every piece of medical equipment, and many non- medical products as well. What is it? A new version of the old UL symbol? Some type of recycling instruction? Please help as my scalp is getting sore from headscratching! 😃

It’s the Canadian version of UL (Underwriter’s Laboratory).
