Just for people who hate commercials at the movies: I, too, hate them, but in South Korea, they show commercials non-stop between movie showings. Usually, they’ll air a commercial twice in a row, so you’ll see a Bulgaris yogurt ad twice, a Marie Claire ad twice, a Kia car ad twice, a Hite beer ad twice, then they might show a trailer or two, then the movie. In addition, they don’t have good movie snacks, just cans of Pringles, cookies, and sodas. I am so glad I’m in America now, although the Jimmy Fund extortion is pissing me off. I feel I have to give, because you gotta give to kids with cancer, but I go to movies to be entertained, not to be held up. ---

I think it works out to be a tie between the Welch’s girl and the Pepsi girl. The Welch’s girl is certainly more disturbing on any number of levels. But the Pepsi girl is ubiquitous. Although she is a lesser evil than the Welch’s girl, we suffer far more exposure to her. Therefore, it is a tie. I can’t wait until they are both Culkin-ated. ---

But when you’re trapped in the theater auditorium with nothing else to do but look at this 500 foot high, 30 minute monstrosity (ok, ok, I exaggerate, I’m posting from my heart, not my head), it’s inhumane, I tells ya! I took my kids to see “Thomas and The Magic Railroad” yesterday and one of the previews was for a movie coming out soon starring the Pepsi demon and Minnie Driver. I think they are supposed to be mother and daughter, wasn’t real sure. Scary. ---

I think all of you should just be thankful that we don’t have to look at JonBenet Ramsey anymore. This may sound perverted of me but everytime I saw a picture of her dressed in adult garb, all I could think about was this Hustler Humor cartoon I saw that pictured a little girl getting up from Santa’s lap with one of his gloves attached to her ass. ---

Hmmm… I’d hate to give anyone nightmares, but wasn’t there at one point also a Welch’s Grape Juice _boy?_ If I recall correctly, he looks an awful (and I do mean awful) lot like the girl. I thought they were brother and sister, both hatched from the same hellish egg. Surely they weren’t born like human children… ---

His report was that Faith Hill was just as gorgeous in person as she is in pictures/on TV, and the little girl is as annoying in person as she is on TV. I’ve loathed her since day 1. I can’t wait for her to hit puberty and get ugly. ---
