Everyone I was going to mention is already in here. I doubt I could name that many, but I do know a handful that non-comic readers wouldn’t recognize, like Dave Mazzucchelli and Walt Simonson. With Crumb and McFarlane, I picked two that I thought were likely to be recognizable even to non-comic readers, by art style even if not by name. ---

He was the creator of what was practically THE Marvel look of the 60s and early 70s.
