Nope. According to some dizz-bang on FOX, “The pilot landed the plane. In crash mode.” Now I know that it’s not sporting to pick on the stupid shit the imbecils on FOX news utter with every other breath. But goddamn it if I don’t wish I had a remote control button that sould send an electric shock through these people every time they say something this fucking dumb. ---

From this morning’s New York Times update of the crash that was fed to local newspapers (before revelations about the co-pilot): _“When the plane plowed into craggy mountains northeast of Nice, France, it was traveling with enough speed that it was all but pulverized, killing the 144 passengers and crew of six.”_ See. that was the problem. If they’d hit the brakes and slowed down before crashing, the plane wouldn’t have broken up at all. :dubious: ---

Certainly not for public consumption. The moron probably heard it once, thought it was inside pilot information, and was showing off. Insensitive, poorly informed, and stupid make an ugly team. ---
